SIERRA SHORES RENTAL POLICIES
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
ADVANCE RENT PAYMENT  
 

Tenant will pay one half of their total rental fee as deposit.

 
     
  RATES  
  Rentals for Sierra Shores 3 or 4 bedroom units are located on the reservation page.  
     
  TAXES  
  As required by South Lake Tahoe include the collection of a ten percent (10%) Transient Occupancy Tax on total rental charged to tenant and a $1.50 dollar/per night charge according to Measure Z.  
     
  CLEANING/SECURITY DEPOSIT  
  A  deposit of $1,000  will be collected with advanced rent.  $200 will be applied towards a cleaning fee and is not-refundable. $800 security/damage deposit will be refunded within fourteen (14) days of termination of occupancy  providing the unit is free of damages.  
     
  BALANCE DUE  
  Balance due must be received by Owner/Agent 30 days prior to arrival,  
     
  CANCELLATIONS  
  Cancellations must be in writing by email to reservations@tahoeluxuryvacationrental.com  
     
  REFUNDS  
  Refund monies will be credited to the account in which the reservation was made.  
     
  ALL RENTALS TO FAMILIES AND REPSPONSIBLE ADULTS  
  Tenant acknowledges  that he/she will personally occupy the property for the entire rental  period and will not sublet any portion of the property. Occupancy restricted to the maximum occupancy  as set forth in this agreement. In the 3 bedroom units a maximum of 8 people. In the 4 bedroom units a maximum of 10 people. Violation of any of these terms shall give  Owner/Agent right to terminatie this agreement.  
     
  CHECK-IN  
  Check-in will be after 4:30 p.m. on the arrival date. You may request an early check-in, and we will grant this if possible, however, Innkeeper is under no contractual obligation to comply with this request.  Please call (530) 318-9696 to inform innkeeper what time you will be arriving.  
     
  CHECK-OUT  
  Check-out on the date of departure will be by 10:00 a.m. Please use this checkout list (also posted on premises) in order to receive your cleaning deposit:  
 
   
All lights are turned off
Appliances have all been turned off
All garbage is taken to the outside trash cans
Load all  dishes into the dishwasher and press start
Lock all doors and windows
Leave keys on the kitchen counter or with the innkeeper
 
 
     
  FURNISHINGS  
  All properties are equipped and furnished to the Owner’s taste and are set-up for light housekeeping. Mattress pads, pillows, blanket and bedspreads are provided. Tenant is responsible  to pay replacement of any furnishings, linens, fixtures or equipment that is damaged during their stay.  
     
  APPLIANCE MALFUNCTIONS  
  Appliance malfunctions or service requests for air conditioning , televisions, hot tubs, pools, appliances etc.. will be responded to as quickly as possible. There are no refunds issued to Tenants for any reason as every good faith effort is made to insure the property is maintained to the highest standards.  
     
  CARE OF PROPERTY  
  Tenant is expected to care for the property as if it were their own. Tenant acknowledges that unless Innkeeper is notified on day of check-in of any damage or cleaning concerns, then thereafter, all damages or concerns to the property during the occupancy will be Tenants responsibility  and must be reported to Innkeeper and paid prior to departure. Rearranging of furniture is not permitted. Tenant must leave the property in a clean condition to include the following:  All trash placed in   trash receptacles. All dishes loaded into dishwasher and cleaned. All doors and windows closed and locked. All breakage reported to the office. Unit must be left the same as you found it. Failure to comply will give the Owner/Agent the right to deduct appropriate   sums from the deposit. You will be charged for anything  on this list that is not completed prior to check-out.  
     
  TELEPHONE  
  Telephone is provided and Tenant  may make unlimited local calls.  
     
  SMOKING AND PETS  
  Smoking and pets are not permitted inside the unit.  
     
  IN THE EVENT  
  In the event that the Owner is unable to deliver said  property to Tenant under this  rental agreement a full refund will be made.  
     
  LOST STOLEN OR ABANDONED ARTICLES  
  Neither Agent nor Owner shall have any responsibility for lost, stolen or abandoned items.  There will be a $50 fee plus shipping for any found and  returned items.
